My attraction to water continues through a focus on ponds. Ponds have their deeper undersides, murky, but full of nutrient-dense matter; their surfaces, covered often in flat lily-pads, with reflected light blocking a view of the pond depths; then there are the illusions, or the reflections, of the upper world--trees, clouds, sky colours--onto the water surfaces. Is there a parallel here for all life? More of these images can be seen and purchased via my book "At Water's Edge: Surface, Depth, Illusion" available by contacting me, or online at http://www.blurb.ca/b/6508905-at-water-s-edge-surface-depth-illusion or contact me via my Contact page for direct purchase.
